Re: depth finder on a ski boat? i've got one of those on my boat (humminbird hdr200), not the through hull though. works great, nice to just have a little 2" gauge rather than the huge fishing setup. depthfinder off the back works well for me, but through hull would be even nicer i think.. Boat depth sounder d110 to transducer slap (buffeting), surface turbulence, thermoclines, double bounce and is almost immune to other depth sounders and fishfinders operating near-by.. For sale is my 3.7m tinnie with 15hp 2-stroke yamaha.. full bimini to protect from the sun and a towing boat cover with velcro clips. i've recently had the transom rewelded for additional strength and a garmin striker 4 fishfinder/depth sounder/gps tracker/speed, temperature and time installed (with adjustable sensor - see photo)..

Re: sounder for jet ski i was talking to the guys that make the fishing gear for jet ski, and am going to put a humminbird bracket on ski and just take sounder from boat and plug into jet ski when needed..
